The Camponeschi Family based in Baltimore, Maryland traces its roots to Morlupo, Italy. Our earliest known ancestor is Nicola Camponeschi. Nicola married Angela Parmegiani of Francesco Cecchitelli in Dec. 1743. They had two children one was Giuseppe, born March 18, 1749. He married Laura Iacomussi of Antonio on Sept 10, 1783. They had several children, one of which was Nicola, born Oct 10, 1795. He married Filomena M. Paris of Marco. They had eight children, Giuseppe, Viola, Marco, Guerino, Quinto, Raffaele, Fiorina, and Ottavio. Our journey in America starts with Guerino and Raffaele - our Grandfathers. |
